So, ever hear of the bumblebee paradox?
Aerodynamically, the bumblebee shouldn’t be able to fly...it’s way too big and heavy for those little wings...but somehow it does.

This is because, with most nutrients, we don’t feel anything when we take them.
We can’t feel a reduction in oxidative stress, or a reduced risk of cancer. No one can feel their cholesterol drop, or their arteries become clearer and more resilient. If your brain and heart are being protected from the after-effects of a stroke or heart attack..you will only know after the event has occurred.
With supplements, consumers will often give something a try if it’s popular, well-promoted, and the price is right. That’s a proven fact.
So, the marketers know the average person will take a chance and spend $20-$40 on just about anything if it’s marketed correctly. Hence the multi-billion dollar US supplement market.
Conversely, they also know people won’t spend $100+ on any one single nutritional “product”. No matter how truly effective it is.
That’s just psychologically too much ask.
In the current market (Amazon), if you wanted to round up the 13 ingredient-doses in Resverox 250 MCD, you would end up taking about 10-16 capsules from about 4-6 different bottles. You would be ingesting a lot of filler, and unscrewing a lot of bottles. And how long would you do that consistently?
That is more than the average person will manage for more than a couple of weeks.
So, the manufacturers settle for selling their products with just one or two “buzz-word” nutrients, and fill up the rest of the capsule space with cheap low-value ingredients. Mostly filler and inactive ingredients.
This way the manufacturers can just pick off $20-$40 sales time after time....and they are doing just fine that way.
But are we doing just fine?
In this system, consumers bounce around from product to product, rarely being consistent (which is what actually counts)...always afraid they are missing something important...because the massive supplement market is always promoting the next big thing.
People end up with a cabinet full of partially used bottles, forget why the heck they were taking things in the first place..and typically never realize the benefit of consistent use of critical nutrients. It’s like they always say in investing “do the right thing, consistently over time, and you will be pleasantly surprised at the outcome”.
Consumers inevitably end up feeling upset because they have essentially wasted a lot of money, bit by bit. I know this from personal experience. I’m sure you do too.
